AOA All,

 I did not want to get into this interest/alchohol/halal argument but I have seen a very dangerous trend emerging. Especially within my dear fellows so I would like to say a few words. This is not a sermon,just plain facts. If you do not like it, delete it. I won't say anything after this.

 Islam means submission to Allah, in believes and deeds. In Islam, faith is the foremost and basic things, and logic follows after. We do not care, if Allah can be proven by logic or not, we believe in Allah. We believe in the prophet (PBUH), no matter, what modern day logic would come out with. And we also believe in all commands of Allah, All Amar (Yes) and Nahi (No). When there is a firm belief, then all logic, hypothesis, arguments,

 postulates, ideas, intellect, points, theories, rationals etc. can follow. The main difference b/w Sahaba Karam and Banu Israel is that Sahaba would firmly believe in the llah(ASW) and Prophet (SAW), his book (Quran) and all his teachings and then would ponder over an aspect of Islam, question about it so that they understand it firmly and shed all doubts. The way of Bani Israel, was to be "smart" with the prophet, not ask question abouts an

 order but question the commandment itself  and then come-up with any excuses they can. The scenario I have seen here is not a new thing, its infact 1400 years old. People ho have at most a B.S. degree and learned English (if not forgot Urdu), now have all the wisdom and knowledge to amend/alter Islamic laws. People who cannot formulate one Aiyat and cannot explain one Hadith now have the authority to challenge it. Infact, I

 met one guy who is doing his Ph.D in Florida in Islamic Studies and his thesis is "to find

 shortcummings and mistakes in Sahi Bukhari". The west (I do not want to say anti-Islamic forces) love to find such young people from Muslim backgrounds who now are brave/intelligent enough to start questioning and shedding doubts about Islamic rinciples. In Toronto (& Canada), many Pakistanis are getting Immigration and support who are willing to become Ahmadis and leave Islam. The west was always afraid of the faith a Muslims has. It wants to shake that faith and then start a countless game of arguments and counter arguments. A Sahabi was making Wudhu and he smiled in the middle. When he finished, he was asked why did you smile? and he answered "I once saw the Prophet (SAW) making Wudhu and as he reached this point he smiled, so did I". A totally llogical and stupid thing to do, right? Now pl. do not blame un-educated Maulvis! Look beyond your family and you will find decent Ulmas which will get all your doubts shed. But still,

 faith is the utmost thing. When Quresh and Yahoods tried to be "smart" with the Prophet (SAW) and started questioning everything, Surah "Al-Kafirun" was revealed and the last Aiyat "Lakum Dinukum Walia Deen" is a very polite and decent way of saying "Do not waste my time, go to hell!"
