Batemans Bay 2002 |
The Inaugural port hacking - Batemans Bay Regatta was conducted in early January. Commencing with two races in Port Hacking, a passage race to Batemans Bay followed by three races and a sail past in and around Batemans Bay, for the last race we had 50+ knots. Social activities were organised every evening. A wonderful event which we all enjoyed. Favourable sailing breezes were delivered for both the trip up and down to Batemans Bay. The skyline was always a pall of smoke due to Sydney's Bush fires.
