In the late 1997 Jimmy went to Dublin, Ireland, to study film. He made a short film called "Fortune's Fool", which became the Best Short Film at the Cork Film Festival 1998. For a long time Jimmy had a girlfriend named Melanie in Ireland, which he was married, as rumours says. The irish girl had a son, that Jimmy treated as his own child. At the end of the 90s Jimmy couldn't handle his fame no more. He started to use drugs. He totally has lost his way but few years later he found his way back in his belief.He thought that the Christianity was his vocation and a few months he stayed in a monastery as a monk. But he couldn't go on with the confinement. He discovered that he loves it to have people around him and he turned back. Also because he missed music. He especially loves it to make godspelmusic. Jimmy don't want to act as a priest but with his songs is that people are started to think about the facets of living.
