Issho ni... (Together...)

Next time we meet, I want to be more honest
I want to laugh with my arm around your shoulder, in this December town

I think back upon how we met by coincudence on the way home,
on your meaningless words, and the white breath of your profile.

On the hill road that took your shoelaces off, the powdered snow fell, and shone on your back.
Your grown up suit widened the distance between us a little.

For the first time I felt 'I want to be with you'
If we can be together, (I want to be with you) this winter, and forever
Next time we meet, I want to be more honest
I want to walk together, holding hands, through this December town

The north wind blows on the three forked road. We have to say goodbye here.
Because my heart has begun to ache, I'll walk ahead of you.

I can't even put my promise into words. It's not because we haven't seen each other for so long that I can't say it.
When we flirted with each other after school, I'd asked you the name of the girl you liked. But now there's no way I can ask.

For the first time I felt 'I want to be with you'
If we can be together, (I want to be with you) even in the cold wintry sky
Next time we meet, I want to be more honest
I want to be together on Christmas, holding you as tight as I can.

For the first time I felt 'I want to be with you' If we can be together, (I want to be with you) even on snowy nights

Together forever.....Together with you.....

Note: I asked my tutor about the 'hill that undid my shoelaces' line, because I was sure it had to have a deeper meaning. And how she explained it was, when your shoelaces are untied, you can't walk well, right? So it basically means that her guard was taken down, and she's not so sure of herself, after she walked that hill with him.
