"I want to spend Chistmas with the person I love." It's certain that when people who
secretly feel that listen to "Issho ni..." their hearts will tighten.
The heroine meets again by coincidence a person that she'd been worrying about since
Junior High, and realizes that she's in love with him, but she can't tell him her feelings.
"In the beginning, we thought that it was a song about a couple who had gone out in the
past suddenly meeting again, a song where their feelings have never changed." REINA
"Right. We thought maybe it was a painful song about how they'd broken up, but she still
is in love with him." LINA
"But it's really a song where she hasn't even confessed her feelings yet." NANA
"So we want this girl to do her best. (laugh) Since this song doesn't give away what
happens in the end, we're praying for a happy ending." REINA
"We've song about alot of different kinds of love, but some were pretty grown up, and far
away from our own feelings....but the moment we looked at these lyrics, we all said 'Oh,
I understand these kind of feelings!,' so it's been a really easy song to get into.
MINA
Until now, they had to pick their costumes while keeping the fact they they had to
dance in mind, but they seemed happy that this time they can chose clothes without
worrying about moving, and can wear pin heels. Although it wasn't completed at the
time of this interview, the coupling song "Powder Shadow" is also a romantic and painful
winter song. Of course, Active MAX is good, but this kind of MAX, where their true
faces show through is also very charming. So, what about plans for next year?
"We're thinking that we've like to do a spring to summer tour again." NANA
"This year we went to a lot of littler places so next year we want to challenge the large
places." MINA
"Because we always want to challenge ourselves and try many things. They might be
rejected, but we just go ahead and say our ideas. (laugh) Like, we'd like ot try a concert
with only girls, or a joint live." REINA
From elementary school students to people in their sixties, the young and old alike
come running to MAX's concerts.
"When I see everyone dancing, regardless of their age, I think 'I'm so happy! I'm glad
we're doing this!'" LINA
Because they are that way, for sure, they have many dreams that will become reality.
The four's challenges continue on and on.
