The creators of The Outer Limits were pure geniuses. If you had never seen the begining before you would think that the TV set was being taken over. I did not appreciate this genius at the time that the original series was televised. Now, looking back at the time in our history that this first aired I can see how great it really was. At the time of the original series, we were a society of people who lived in FEAR. Fear of Castro in cuba, fear of Russian invasion and the most fearful of all, fear of invasion from OUTER Space creatures. Just like the Twilght Zone, The Outer Limits fed our hunger for the out of the ordinary and the unusual. I loved the program and still marvel at the genius of the programs.
