I fell in love with James Garner when he played "Maverick". So naturally when he was 'Jim Rockford' I watched just because he was on the star. Then I realized that the program was good. I don't think anyone else could have played the part, but the program was good and James Garner was fantastic! The Rockford Files was on NBC from September 13, 1974 until July 25, 1980. |
