The Jetson family live in the future, they are to the future what the Flintstones are to the past. They were brought to life by the same people as the Flintstones--Hanna-Barbera. And like the Flintstones they started life in prime time TV. They later switched to Saturday mornings. There have been several movies done about them, some with them meeting the Flintstone family.

When I first saw the Jetsons I thought "cool" that is the way life is going to be when I grow up, well, I'm grown now and it ain't like that at all. But they are still fun to watch and my children may live to see flying cars and push button hair dressers!
