Joe - Everything BUY NOW

The first Joe Album was released on a Zomba Recordings label. This album was not as successful as his others. It was a rushed release and Joe was not happy with the effort that had been put into it or the way it had been produced. After much dispute he left the label and joined Jive Records where he currently resides vocally. He has firmly established a foothold in the industry with Jive not just as a singer but also as a producer, mixer, instrumental  artist and background vocals specialist. He has helped start the career of many talented young artists  and even helps them create their music. A song from this album was used in a soundtrack for a motion picture as well I am not aware what song it was but the movie it was featured in is called 'Don't Be A Menace'. This album is unlike any other of Joe's the music is very different mainly because it was released in the early 90's and it was made to appeal to mainstream music more. Nowadays Joe has established his type of music and creates songs of that theme mainly. The songs in this album were more experimental for him they were more hip hop infused.

Joe's second album and his first on the Jive Records Label. It is still considered a classic by many he proved to the world that he had raw talent. He showed his lyrical genius, his ability to play with words and how passionate his music is. One song from the album was used as a soundtrack for the movie 'Booty Call'. The song is' Don't Wanna Be A Player' and is still a very much appreciated song and one of my favorites. In this album is the original version of 'No One Else' which he later let N*sync use since they are on the same record label as him and they are friends. They repaid the favor later on by collaborating with him for a song on his 'My Name Is Joe' album.. I still prefer the original version of 'No One Else' by Joe I think N*Sync made a worthy effort but they are no where near as good.

Joes third and best album so far. He really sparkled with this beautiful piece of art.  All of Joes songs are written or co written by Joe and he created some of the best romantic songs of all time in this album. This album has gone platinum over nine times in the USA alone as far as I am aware. This album really made people notice and appreciate his music. Another song form this album was used as a soundtrack for a movie called 'Double Take' and the song was called 'Stutter'. The remix version was used for the sound track but it was a big seller as a single. It stayed in the US top 40 for an unbelievable amount of time. This is Joe's best album no doubt about it.

Finally we come to Joe's latest offering 'Better Days'. Some people have stated that this was a rushed release to use the attention gathered from the stutter single for Joe and his record to generate profit. If that is the case then a un-rushed  album would have become another master-piece not that this album is not that. It once again shows Joe's lyrical genius and his uncanny ability to add pure depths of emotion to his music. Joe add a new point of perspective in this album it is not  all about romantic songs and appreciating the most amazing thing is this world a woman. He also focuses on people who have not had life so well. The song 'Better Days' using the same name as the album is based on females in ghettos who choose the wrong path in their lives and end up with nothing. He also has done a collaboration with Shaggy to make the funky 'Ghetto Child' song. It also features the vocal talents of a choir. The song is about children who have nothing to live for because of their lives in the ghettos and the way their lifestyle moulds them.. These songs are to provide hope for people in these situations and and make us understand how they feel about life.
