Filter Show, Estonia 30.11.2000
kiitos to poisonedanghel!

Here is an interview which was given to TV3's show Filter on 30th November 2001  by Ville and Mig after the official press conference. (Filter is a show for teenagers in Estonia, something like Yle TV's Jyrki)

HIM and Estonia?

Ville - Yes, my daddy has a couple of family here. So I spent some time here in the 80s. Not just like buying alcohol like some Finnish idiots, you know, they usually do. Sorry about that. It's normal to get drunk and have a good time, but you shouldn't act like an idiot.
Mig - (nods at Ville's words) I've been to Tallinn, actually I love that, and it's a nice city.
Ville - I don't know so much about this country, 'cause I've only been to Tallinn for a couple of times and not really had the time to see these places or watch what is going on in here, so.... I haven't got any exact opinion about Estonia.

Fame and music?
Ville - When you've really worked hard on something and we've seen that people seem to like what we're doing I suppose it feels good though that you've done something right for all these years. In that case in a way it gives us...eeh...eeh...
Mig - (helps out) Confidence
Ville - Confidence, yeah, that's the word. But fame shouldn't change the music.

Producer's slaves?
Mig - Fortunately we don't have to listen to them. Luckily we know what we want. So far we've persuaded them into doing things our way. Let's see what the future brings.

HIM and alcohol?

Ville - Music comes first. We didn't start the band just to be able every night or whatever. It's hard to say. Well, some of us drink and some of us don't.
Mig - Like in every family, there's always an alcoholic.
Ville - We're not telling who that is though.
Mig - I think you can tell... :)
