| ~back to reviews~ HIM gig in Joensuu, Finland 12.4.2002 (by Maiju) I was in school on Friday and of course I was in heaven still, looking my concert pics from Kuopio which I managed to make 50! And almost every pics are great ;) I�m so happy about that. Everyone were asking to me in school �Are you using drugs?� and stuff like that cause I admit that I must been a �bit� of in my own world:) When I came home after school I was so nervous and when it was time to prepare myself for evening I was more than nervous. We left our house somewhere 18.35 or so and I was listening HIM in the car�it was so great! When we were close to gig place I started to panic somehow. I became soooo nervous! My parents left me to the gig place and there was already something like 30- 40 girls before me waiting doors opening but it didn�t matter cause I knew that I would get good place even for that. Suddenly I started to shake like nuts and it was because I was soooo nervous! One girl started to talk with me and we had pretty nice time waiting for doors opening. Finally doors opened and I gave my jacket away and ran to the place where stage was. There were already many people, and first row was �full� but I got to the second row. I was pretty nervous and it felt like clock was totally stopped! The Skreppes came somewhere 21.45 or so and they played same songs as in Kuopio�. Or I think so. In this time I wasn�t dancing and doing crazy stuff cause I didn�t like them at all, I was hoping that HIM would come! When Skreppers left the stage and those men started to make everything right for HIM everyone started to pushing and I felt so terrible but of course it didn�t matter! When HIM came everyone acted like nuts! We were jumping and clapping our hands and yelling! When they started first song Stigmata Diaboli everyone were pushing and pushing but I stayed strong. I didn�t see so well to the stage cause girls who were front of me were pretty tall. But I saw Linde & Burton & Ville pretty well ;) But pushing was so awful! I remember that there was some parts when I couldn�t see anything when I was just fighting with some girls to places� but then again I saw Ville and I didn�t care anything ;) He was again so nice mood, joking and smiling� hehe. He was introducing some songs in Finnish� I mean that he said for example �T�� biisi on Synnin viem�� �This song is Gone with the sin� and so on :) I just love it!!!! The way he was singing was amazing and the way he was speaking and smiling! He was so �weak� and so �little� and beautiful! Poison Heart (The Ramones) 19.When Love And Death Embrace Ville was wearing again same clothes like in Kuopio but at this time he didn�t have so white skin. Or I think so. I�m not sure what Mige was wearing cause I didn�t see him that well but I think he was also wearing same clothes as in Kuopio, Burton was wearing cowboy had (well of course) jeans and that kind of �shirt� which he wears in that pic in DSABH ;D Linde was wearing jeans and some beautiful white shirt. Gas was naturally in black. Some black t-shirt & black pants :) Before �Pretending� Ville said �After this song we�ll go away to stage and then you have to yell us back, it�s pretty silly that we have to go away and then come back cause we could play those songs now� but that�s the way Encore is ;D If you�ll yell enough hard we�ll come back and give you some �candy� ;DDDD� Hehhee. I was laughing sooooo hard! And after pretending they really went away but of course we yell & clap our hands and they came back and Ville said �kiitoksia� once again :) The most funnies thing was probably when they were playing Please Don�t Let It Go The Skreppers came back to stage..and yes, they were full naked :DDDD Oh Gosh! I just couldn�t stop laughing :D it was sooooo funny! Unfortunately I couldn�t take any photos of that * shame * ;D hihi. You should seen Ville�s & others faces when The Skreppes came to stage :DDD I have never seen Ville & co. smiling so fucking much! And then Ville said �Let�s give a huge honour to Skreppers� and everyone were clapping their hands and yelling :) Of course cause Ville sweetie said so. Hehe. Once again I was singing as loud as I could when they played Poison Heart and again some girls were staring to me :D hihi. So what?????? Before When Love And Death Embrace Ville said something like �It would be perfect if Skreppers would come stage now cause this song is about love and lovers and it just would fit perfect for that to come to stage naked� ;D How can he be so funny????? Some guy were yelling to Ville� just yelling like �ooooooooooooooooooooooooo� and Ville answered �ooooo� ;DDD It was also so funny! And before IJAS he said �We made a song which is easy to play & sing cause we are so old men � NO! You aren�t old Ville ;) He was also saying some other things but it�s pretty hard to explain them ;) The whole gig was amazing even I wasn�t in first row and even everyone were pushing and even I couldn�t see them all so well. It didn�t matter, all that matter was that I saw HIM again and they were so fucking great and Ville darling was more than amazing & beautiful & gorgeous. I just can�t find the words to tell you! Ville said �thanks & see ya in 2 years � or something like that. And then he left the stage, and others played the end of When Love & Death Embrace. Again Burton threw his towel to audience and when Gas ended song he was smiling so much and of course everyone were clapping to them as hard as they could! Me too :) Almost everyone went away but I went to first row and saw one guy taking of setlist and he saw me and I looked at him and pointed to my finger that setlist as sweet as I could and he gave something to one guy and said something to him and pointed to me� and then that guy came to me and put something to my hand and when I looked what it was� I saw a HIM plectrum!!!! I think it must be Linde�s cause I think Mige don�t play bass with plectrum, he plays it with fingers�but of course I�m not sure but it doesn�t matter! I was sooooooo happy and yes, I know how jealous you are now :D Imagine, it has been to Mige�s or Linde�s hand :DDD hehe. It�s black one and there�s another side written HIM in funny letters and another side there�s heartagram :) Of course it�s not in so good shape cause Mige or Linde has played with it but it�s so beautiful!!!! I�ll keep it to safe forever, I really think I should buy some glass thingy and put it there :) If I�ll some day meet that guy who gave it to me I�ll thank him soooooo much! I was too shocked to thank him on yesterday ;( *stupid me * But I think that he must seen how happy I became :) I got my jacket and walked outside in heaven again , my dad was waiting for me and my mom was also in the car. I was so happy but at the same moment I was sad cause I knew that I wouldn�t see them so soon now, When I listened in car Greatest Lovesongs Vol.666 and �When Love And Death Embrace� I just had to cry, I couldn�t help myself. I cried cause I was happy and I cried cause I was so sad cause I already missed them! Now I�ve been thinking about going to that music festival in summer where HIM will be in Finland. Let�s see :) When I was again to home I had to cry more cause I just couldn�t believe that I really saw them, again! And that the gig was so great and that now I wouldn�t see them for a while ;( At this moment I�m really shocked cause I�ve seen them twice and both gigs were so great! I don�t know which one was better, there was so different things to those 2 gigs�. Of course I was in first row in Kuopio and in Joensuu I wasn�t and everyone were pushing so damn hard�. But�. I loved both gigs so much and I still love. I hope that I you could understand something about how I feel right now. I can�t believe this. I can�t! Those gigs were the best evenings in my life and now I love HIM even more! They are one and only for me. And their music is just amazing. More than amazing. HIM now & forever. |
