| HIM at Athens 08.12.2001 (by Debbie) A total failure,that is all I can say.Firstly,we were running to catch the bus and nearly got hit by a car,then we were running to catch the subway and the train,when we arrived someone from the security took as to the wrong place and we were waiting for an hour in the cold and the rain,there weren't any lights,we run again to ask for the right place,they told us and we were running again for ten minutes in the rain.We found it,we were rambaged in the crowd and when we finally got in my sister fell down in our trie to find box seats.Many people saw her and started lauphing at her as she boweled like a barrel and she hit her knee.Anyway...When we sat someone was testing the microphones and for an hour he was playing with our nerves,counting from one to three all the time.The concert finally began with a Greek band called Drag and it was very nice and then Him appeared on stage.They dissapointed all their fans.Valo appeared with sunglasses even though it was winter and dark,he was wearing a scarf which covered his nose,an ugly coat and the classic beret.Mige was dressed Mujahedin and the other members were normally dressed.They played their songs very well but Valo was smoking and drinking beer all the time and he smiled only one time.He seemed to be on a very bad mood...Anyway,I liked it very much when in ''Join me'' he let as say loud ''this life ain't worth living'',it was a great moment and in ''Bury me deep inside your heart'' he pretended that he was digging as the crowd was singing.The concert lasted only one hour and it ended with ''Pretending''.I can't say that I was very satisfied,neither that I didn't like it at all,it just could have been better...At least I saw them live,that's enough for me...
