The Pokémon Lab was located in Cinnabar
Island. A great amount of scientific research is conducted here.
There was a fossil resurrector in this lab that resurrects
pokémon from fossils and brings them back to life. |

Mansion

North of the Pokémon Lab, Cinnabar Mansion
used to be located. In here, scientists were conducting research
on Mew which, by then, was a newly- discovered pokémon. Mew gave
birth to Mewtwo, who became evil and powerful and took over the
building. |

Volcano

There is a huge volcano in Cinnabar Island
that erupted sometime in late 1999. The whole island was
destroyed. As a matter of fact, no evidence was left that there
had ever been a city there, except the Pokémon Center. |
Pokémon
Gym
|
The gym leader here, Blaine,
lost his gym in the eruption. He was forced to move to the Seafoam
Islands. His gym was a mixture of trainer battles and riddles. If
a challenger wanted to battle him, they'd have to solve the riddle
or battle the trainer in each room.
Blaine uses fire-type pokémon to BURN his opponents. |
