Short-Cut Apple Yam Casserole

  1. Cut apples in the pie filling into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the pie filling, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well blended.
  3. Gently stir in the cut-up yams.
  4. Grease a two-quart casserole dish and pour in apple-yam mixture.
  5. You may either microwave for approx 8-10 minutes until warmed through or you can put it into a 350F oven and bake approximately 15 minutes until warmed.
