Welcome to the first website developed especially for the Dodge Dakota Convertible trucks. This site is intended to bring together everyone who owns or wants to own the only factory production convertible truck ever made!
     These special,
Limited Edition models of the Dodge Dakota were produced in 1989 (2,842) and 1990 (1,039), and only eight models in 1991, due to a remaining contract with ASC (American Sunroof Company).
Most of the pics you see throughout this site are taken from the original sales and promotional brochures.  So this website is....sort of.....retro! I hope you find the information provided useful.
ENJOY!
*New!*
(Special thanks to Rick Guisto)
A 1992 Chrysler Corporation's official letter declaring the number of convertible Dakota's produced in 1989 and 1990 can now be seen
here.
What year of convertible Dakota do you own? (please vote once for each truck, and only one vote allowed per day, sorry!)
