Frieza is the first REAL villain to threaten the Z warriors in DBZ. 
But..... They have difficulty getting rid of him for good. It appears 
that Goku kills him on the fight on Nameck. But, his remains are 
found and rebuilt as Metal Frieza. He and his FATHER come 
to earth for revenge. They are both swiftly defeated by Mirai no 
Trunks (Future Trunks). Let me see... after that he reappears in 
DBZ movie #12. All the dead have been brought back to earth 
and Frieza is making trouble again. He is quickly taken out by 
Gohan dressed as Great Saiya-man. THEN (heh heh, told ya 
he's hard to get rid of!) he escapes from Hell with a bunch of 
other villains in DBGT. He has three levels to transform into, 
each making him more powerful than the last. His last form is 
small and puny looking, but in this form he kills many, including 
Kuririn and VEGETA.
