First son to Bulma and Vegeta, chibi Trunks is the Trunks of the present 
time line. This is that cute and chubby little baby you see at the start of the 
android saga, only now, at an age of about 8 or so. He is best friend to 
Goten, son of Goku and Chi Chi. He is born within the three year period 
where the Z warriors are training for the androids. Trunks and Goten do 
all kinds of hilarious things, including fusing into a strange new warrior, 
Gotenks. Trunks and his father have a rocky relationship [to say the least], 
but he receives his first hug from *Majin* Vegeta right before Vegeta blows 
himself up in an attempt to kill Buu. When Vegeta finds out that Trunks can 
go ssj, he asks if Kakkarotto's brat can do the same. And of course, Goten 
can. Then he proceeds to give Trunks a sort of *lecture*, saying how, back 
in the day, saiya-jins couldn't acheive ssj at such a young age. After learning 
this information, Vegeta decides to start training Trunks.
