Since Daryl Palumbo(singer) and Justin Beck(guitarist) formed the band glassJAw when they were both 14, they have been rocking the hardcore scene like no other. They went through a slew of different members, perhaps the current crew will stay for a while. Only recently they are gaining the popularity of many, and once their album hits stores on July 9, 2002, they may enter the mainstream. To many this will be a dissappointment. After being in the underground hardcore scene for so long, you'd think a band would want to steer clear of selling out. But I think glassJAw has been rocking long enough to enjoy the finer things in life, and spread their music to as many people as possible. However, the day they are on TRL is the day I cut off my dick and become a circus clown. Touring the lesser known towns of the nation, raoming in search of simple folk looking for a cheap laugh. Life as a penisless circus clown would be tough. Too tough to comprehend. Lets just hope glassJAw doesn't sell out. It would be a better world for all of us. |
