Despite its many faults, I will always be a fan of the old Playmates Star Trek line. It was a great toy line which in the old days coverred a great range of characters. It slowed down a lot in its last few years, but it was still fun! So when the Star Trek liscence was granted to Art Asylum with a whole new style, I was a little dissapointed, that's why I decided to begin a little Enterprise project! Trouble is tho, I didn't really get into Enterprise as much as I would have liked, so the project sufferred accordingly!
But anyway, here is Captain Archer, the new first man to Captain the Enterprise! This one actually is not made from a Star Trek figure, but from one of Playmates SeaQuest figures, which match exactly in style. This guy was the Captain...the guy from Jaws, its a pretty straight forward repaint. At some point I would like to repaint him with matt paint, I don't think I could find any at the time...but oh well, I like him! |
