Thirty-three takes pleasure in the
evening,
Having labored through the afternoon.
In quiet contemplation there is healing,
Repairing what has broken all too soon.
Truth and beauty blend beneath the moon,
Yielding a consent beyond retrieving.
To know that life must always end in
rapture,
Having traveled through the straits of pain,
Reckoning by stars too faint to capture,
Eliminating thoughts of loss or gain,
Each passion silenced, is to love again. |
