Lim Guan Eng Released From Kajang Prison

The righteous are punished for seeking justice against wrong-doers

Thousands of Malaysians turned out to greet Lim Guan Eng who was released from Kajang prison after serving 12 months of an 18 months sentence. His crime? To criticize the handling of the Attorney-General over the Rahim Thamby Chik statutory rape case in which the politician got off without being charged while the underaged victim was victimized. Two appeals failed to overturn the unjust sentence which is a testament to the deep rot in the judiciary.  300,000 people signed a petition requesting for his pardon which was never given.
