Mahathir Moves into Putrajaya Palace

A Monument to megalomania at the expense of the tax-payers

This opulent palace in Putrajaya fit for an emperor which Mahathir built for his official residence shows up his delusions of grandeur and his indifference to the wasteful use of public money. Along with wallowing hippos and interior fittings, even RM200 million would not be enough. Clearly Mahathir has been afflicted by the psychological condition called megalomania which is which afflicts leaders who hold on to power for too long.
