PAZ E AMOR	PEACE AND LOVE

O Natal, tempo de Paz e Amor, aproximava-se. Foi um vibe. Peguei na bandeira da ONU, deixei os ramos de oliveira, no lugar do Mundo um coração, e um debrum a ouro para compor.	Christmas, time of Peace and Love, was coming. It was a vibe. I took the UN flag, kept the olive branches, instead of the World, a heart, and a golden fringe to embellish.
25 DE ABRIL SEMPRE!	APRIL 25th ALWAYS!

Surgiu para comemorar os 24 anos (e seguintes!) da Revolução da Liberdade em Portugal. Como me encontrava no estrangeiro, foi a maneira que encontrei de me juntar à festa! As cores de fundo simbolizam o dia e a noite (logo, sempre), e o cravo, símbolo da Revolução, é ao jeito do do emblema do MFA.	It came to celebrate the 24^th. anniversary (and following!) of the Freedom Revolution in Portugal. As I was abroad, it was the way I found to join the party! The background symbolises day and night (therefore, always), and the carnation, symbol of the Revolution, is like the one from the MFA (Armed Forces Movement).

A ideia foi combinar as bandeiras das Repúblicas Portuguesa e Espanhola, tanto nas cores como nas Armas. O escudete de Portugal em abismo vem do tempo da dominação de Habsburgo.	The idea was combining the flags of the Portuguese and Spanish Republics, both colours and COA's. The Portuguese escutcheon overall comes from the time of the Habsburg domination.
INCÊNDIOS FLORESTAIS	FOREST FIRES

Esta bandeira nasceu da observação do céu durante um grande incêndio ocorrido no Ribatejo em Agosto de 2000. A fotografia foi tirada na ocorrência.	This flag was born from the observation of the sky during a great fire occurred in Ribatejo in August of 2000. The picture was taken at the instance.
