He lived in Windsor, CT all his life and it is probable that he was a tanner. In 1710 he was appointed by the General Assembly as quartermaster of the Hartford County Cavalry Troop and he was one of the Selectmen of Windsor about 1731. One stone marks the two graves in the Windsor Cemetery.
