This is a view into a young girl's right sphenoid sinus. The yellow lesion on the floor of the sinus is a small mucus retention cyst. She was terribly afraid that it could be cancer and was pleased the findings were negative. |
This is a view into a patient's left maxillary sinus via a Caldwell-Luc approach: an open approach to the sinuses. The polypoid lesion to the left had a gritty feel and was oily in nature. Pathology: cholesterol clefts with foreign body reaction. No dental filling seen. |
