Triops Longicauddatus
I started out with 5 triops, and 5 "fairy shrimp." They die really easily because they are very cannibalistic. They also ate the fairy shrimp. Mine lasted about a month before they all died. Well, here are some photos:
As you can probably see, they are not pretty. The only thing they do all day is swim, swim, swim. The only interesting thing about them is that their eggs can do
diapause(What's this?). The book said that they lived even when the dinosaurs lived! But, they do look really creepy when they die and just float on the surface. Very strange.
