The Mustang II era began in 1974 and lasted till 1978. It bagan because of fuel crisis and the need for fuel economy. The mustang's had bad performance in 1974 they were strictly 2 just get FORD thru the dark ages. diffrent packages were still offered lik the hatchback,Mach 1,the coupe,and also the Ghia. there was a standard 4 cylinder but also the 6 cylinder,and upon request an 8 cylinder. The performance of the 302 small block was gone but it was the best they had.
