Asalam-O-Alykum,

Today was a partially cloudy day, very good for a cricket match. Today's match was between EEMZ Brothers and ATD. First, We took a group picture of each team for record. Next was toss, Kaleem (EEMZ Brother's Captain) flipped coin and Mevan called tails but actually it was heads, so EEMZ Brothers won the toss and decided to bat. Naeem and Rais came to open the batting. Naeem looked like he would not see anything but six, in first the score was 33. After this they didn't look back and kept scoring quickly as well as the sixes. When Naeem got out, when Nazeer from ATD bowled him, Faheem continued the series of sixes. Even that time came when Faheem and his brother Kaleem both were hitting sixes continuously. There was no doubt the runs were coming but also the wickets were too. This was due to some excellent catches. They were all out in 15.3 overs and scored a humongous 284. This is the highest score at this ground, previous record was 235. ATD have to play the same way as EEMZ Brother played to score that Humongous Target. Mevan and BOB started their innings. Mevan was committed to score some big runs but unfortunately he was bowled by Naseem. Wickets started to fall quickly and couldn't defend against some quality bowling. Only Jawad stayed stead-fast and took his team's score to over 130 but he got out too. Then the last wicket fell quickly to end the match. The good that was seen today the loosing team showed the true spirit of game by shaking hands to the winning team. I really appreciate that. I know in tomorrow's match ATD will perform to their best of talent and will continue their fight. That's it for today. Hope for another exciting match.
