Mersey Square Stockport Progress
( click image to enlarge )

[3] The entire bridge frame and Mersey Square track with Cheadle line going under second arch.
[8] The Depot trackwork almost complete. Note David Voice's book "Guide to '00'gauge tramway modelling 2nd Edition". The Bell's Whiskey container was the store for loose 75 rail used for the pointwork.
[10] Construction of the curved wall blending Wellington Road South into Mersey Square a prominent feature still there to date, although the Square itself has changed dramatically.
[11] Laying the roadway in accordance with Tramalan's Video " How to build a 4mm Model Tramway Layout".
[12] As above but slightly different angle.
[13] Close up of the Depot entrance and the Beginning of 400 hours of cobble production by hand after the plaster had set. Gives a better and repetitionless appearance to my eye.
[15] The Depot floor with it's stained concrete look.
[17] Traction Poles introduced to Mersey Square prior to attempting the overhead for the loop.
[19] A view up Wellington Road and across Mersey Square now populated with traction poles. Note steps to the right.
[24]Same viaduct now in situ and seen from the top of Daw Bank. Compare with the same view in "Tramways ( ~) in and around STOCKPORT" by Raymond Keeley . It'll do for me!
[25] Seen at the Princes Road - Heaton Lane junction with Wellington Road South, The viaduct will disappear behind the depot at this point. Note the warehouse holding the bridge up will not remain at this location. .
[26] Same view from slightly different angle across the square.
[27]Modified bus shelter ....
[29] Awaiting next film ....
