Halloween

PJ Soles as Lynda

Description:

On a cold Halloween night in Haddonfield, Illinois in 1963, six year old Michael Myers brutally murdered his teenage sister after having sex with her boyfriend. Michael is then locked inside Smith's Grove Warren County Sanitarium where he is placed under the care of Dr. Sam Loomis who is the only one who sees the pure evil within the soul of Michael. In October 1978, Michael escapes from the sanitarium. After witnessing the escape, Dr. Loomis heads back to Haddonfield where he knows Michael will kill again on Halloween night. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pamela Jane Hardon was born on July 17, 1955, in Frankfurt, Germany. Her father came from Holland and her mother from New Jersey. Because P.J.'s father was working for an international insurance company, the family moved all over the world: they lived in Morocco, Venezuela, Turkey and Belgium, and visited many other countries as well (P.J. has always been a globetrotter). Due to her travels, P.J. is multilingual; she is fluent in Russian, French, and Spanish. When she was in high school, in Brussels, Belgium, after several years of intensive study in Russian, P.J. wanted to become the first woman ambassador to the Soviet Union. This career goal changed when P.J. visited the Actors Studio in New York City. P.J. got the show biz bug, and after graduating from Briar Cliff College, P.J. got herself an agent and started doing commercials and modeling. P.J. then made the move to Los Angeles to work in TV and movies. About this time she married J. Stephen Soles and changed her name to the now-familiar P. J. Soles. After some modest success, her big break came when John Travolta recommended that P.J. get a starring role in "Carrie" (1976). P.J. would then star in other youth-oriented movies like "Rock 'n' Roll High School" with the Ramones. (Later, P.J. would say, "I sang with the Ramones when they played at the Roxy once, about two years after we made the film... it was fun. It ROCKED!") P.J. was married for a short time to actor Dennis Quaid; they got divorced after a few years. In the early 1980s, P.J. married Skip Holm. They had a son named Sky (born around 1984), and a daughter named Ashley (born around 1988). They live in San Fernando Valley, California. P.J. is still actively acting in movies, and her fans look forward to her new films.

Personal quotes

"Dennis is very, very sad. I've never heard him sound so sad. I got the feeling he hasn't slept recently. He's devastated just by the thought of any separation mostly because they have a son. He's very concerned about the effects on his son." - about the separation of Dennis Quaid from Meg Ryan

"I am so happy that every generation still tunes into most of the classic and cult films I was lucky to be a part of."

"Everybody thought I was a California girl, and I felt I had to work harder than most people. I went to a place in my mind from having watched other movies, so for me it was a little more challenging than a lot of people probably realize."
