Shawnee Smith as Julie
When a government-run lab accidentally lets loose a deadly virus, the population of the world is decimated. Survivors begin having dreams about two figures: a mystical old woman, or a foreboding, scary man. As the story tracks various people, we begin to realize that the two figures exemplify basic forces of good and evil, and the stage is set for a final confrontation between the representatives of each.

Ms. Smith was born in Orangeburg, SC. She first became interested in acting when a friend, who was the Northern toilet paper girl, signed her up with an agent. Ms. Smith's first big break was as a dancing orphan in the film "Annie." She followed her film appearance with a string of stage roles, including an award-winning performance in "To Gillian on her 37th Birthday." In addition to acting, Ms. Smith sings and plays the guitar for the band Fydolla Ho.
