Lost My Way

Day after day, I wander empty streets
Concentrating on where I place my feet
Chilled to the bone, no heart is home
Looking for someplace my soul can weep

Surendering to an ocean of might have been
My heart longs to sleep,no dreams to keep
Too litle, too late, love's a slave to fate
I still bleed a trail that remains unseen

Rainy skies, too many die,who asks why?
All hope is gone, yet life lingers on
Too stupid to give in,too lost to begin
Broken wings trap my soul like hope's lie

Every night seeking some sheltered corner
Each strangers face a blurr through tears
Silently I cry, a little more of me to die
So cold ,afraid to reach,my fear is warmer

Drifting along with the crowd's ebb and flow
Listening to chilling echoes of past laughter
Lost and foever alone,my heart turns to stone
My misery steals what love needs to know

Rainy skies, too many die,who asks why?
All hope is gone, yet life lingers on
Too stupid to give in,too lost to begin
God take my breath so it won't hurt to cry!
