What was I thinking! Five Katana Class Cruisers.
The crews were wiped out by a plague weapon
The main weapons would be the matter/antimatter torpedoes launched from the ventral pylon.
The small arms carried on board suggest that the standard mode of attack is to use torpedoes first then follow up with a boarding party.
