Big, heavy, slow. These would be the words of a fighter pilot for them
Sorin® shows you the wonderful world of transport aircraft

Named by the fighter pilots as turtles of the skies, these big looking and slow moving aircraft are indispensable to any air force today, as wars are short, fought at long rang and require a high degree of mobility

Information about the Antonov An32

Sorry, I don't have any pictures with the An32 available right now...

The Antonov An-32 is a project of the russian Antonov Aircraft Company, and it has 2 turbo-prop engines. Usually used to surveillance activities or special operations, it can also be modified to become an airborne radar or an airborne command and control center.
The Romanian Government offered in 1998 to send an An32 in Kosovo (if needed) to monitor the peace-keeping process. But the aircraft was never requested by NATO.
