The Band
VARUN
Varun's bass lines are not like what any metal bassie would compose,
they are very different from the guitar riff. Though he listens
to grunge and metal, his bass lines are have more of the new age
punch. He plays around a lot with alternate tunings, giving the
music that ‘something special’.
Varun started out designing the
site for Synapse. The band were then getting ready for a recording
session just to evaluate themselves. Since their popularity was
increasing at that time they needed a manager to take care of all
the promo-work. Varun was taken in right then. The recording was
then made into an album- 'Fenced in', sold only at live concerts
as a demo. Synapse sold about 300-400 copies of this album. Now,
Varun manages almost all the band activities.
