2019 - Year in Retrospective
Youtube Rewind once again made us realize that mankind can still go deeper into this cultural shitfest that we're currently in. The current state of affairs are way out of my league. I'm 2019% sure that this year sucked.
Everything is crap nowadays. This year barely begun and we were swarmed by clickbaity youtubers such as YongYea riding off the new Youtube cashcow, namely beating the dead horse that big gaming companies (such as Blizzard and E.A.) are up to with their new Lex Luthor shenanigan of the week. I mean, I understand your concerns on the fucking matter, but we already know that they're big assholes. We already know that like, half of gaming is owned by China and the other half by the fucking borg. You don't have to tell us that, we're not three-year olds. These fucking morons have been selling hot garbage after hot garbage, and some people eat it up somehow. COD fans, seriously. You're playing the same game for over a decade. You're nothing like those guys that play on de_dust2 for the better part of 20 years, but you're getting there. How do you guys not get sick of playing on the same shitty maps is beyond me. I don't get it, seriously. Then we find out that Epic Games has been systematically buying games off from publishers and developers for some shoddy exclusivity contract, Because nobody wants to use their shitty launcher. I dunno now but back in January it was hot trash. After that, we get more Bethesda slip-ups, and pretty much nothing exciting. No cool releases. Rockstar Games hasn't announced a thing (except RDR2's PC port) and the fans are pretty much left with shitty GTA:O updates or RDO. They didn't even release single-player DLC, which I thought they were. Pretty much, the industry blows and you blow too. Fuck you.
If you know me (or read this website, which if you're here its a given) you already know that I'm into anime, and if you're accompanying the latest seasonal anime and have two neurons on your head, you already know that as of late they've been sucking, and the floodgates have opened and now the community was taken over by normies. Sperging aside, why is 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' rated as a 8.16 in MyAnimeList? Why do people care about 'Ascendance of a Bookworm'? (Update: it got a new season scheduled for Spring 2020, what the fuck). Everybody's entitled to their opinion, sure, but never I have seen such boring, low-grade trash consistently getting the high grades while also being immediately forgotten about next season. I'll admit that I still haven't caught up to Psycho-Pass and some of the other releases, but if this Isekai trend continues it's gonna be ugly.
Now on the social media aspect, Tumblr died when they banned porn. That's pretty much what everybody used it for. After Tumblr started getting strict, all of the tumblrinas along with degenerates and mental ward patients migrated to platforms such as Discord and Twitter. Discord got a lot shitter over the years when all of these rats started infesting the platform, proving once again that Tumblr was simply containment for these tards which now have been set loose without a wrangler on the wide web. 2018, despite certain events, was a heck of a good year to be around, unlike now. Jeez, nowadays they'll ban you for even cracking a joke. Fuck you all, screwheads.
