Introduction

I brought this DearS gashapon set at J-Hobby.  I was somewhat a fan of DearS when the anime came out, but I don't know why I brought this set.  I have seen pics of it on the web & it wasn't too appealling really.  Must have been a buying urge or something.

I never assemble or open this set.  I sold them due to lack of space & interest in them.

You probably won't see much in this review, but I should give it out just in case people are planning to get this set.  There are five figurines in this set.  So, you don't need to worry about any secret characters.   However, I heard that there are variations of the figurines.  It's basically clear hair parts.  The girls in this set are Ren, Miu, Nia, Ruvi, & Neneko Izumi.

From what I seen from pics in the web, all the poses are static really.  The parts are quite thin, probably to make the characters sexy & slender or something.  As for the paint job, it's hard to tell.  From what I seen, it's okay.  Probably not the best for ¥300 gashapons.  The faces are ok for some & bad for the rest.  Ruvi's face isn't too bad as I seen from web pics of the actual product.  Neneko & Nia, however, are quite bad.  They look more angry & evil for some reason.  But that's from pics I've seen in the web.  I'm not sure if it's the same here.

Overall Conclusion

I can't grade the DearS gashapon set since it was all mixed up in that tight bag.  From what I seen, this isn't bad looking set.  Since I got rid of it, I can't make a review of them.

If you are looking for DearS gashapon, you need to look for them in online auctions.  I don't think there are any stores that still carrying this.  The market price for this varies.  It can go as as low as US$25 to as high as US$50.  It's really an rare item now.
