The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is considered by many in Japan to be a cult hit that matches the hype level of Neon Genesis Evangelion.  When it went from manga to anime, it become a boom.  A lot of its merchandises from cosplay items to figurines to simple T-shirt designs, these items were hot & flying out of stores very fast.  Some figurines became so popular that toy companies faced hard times keeping up with demand & end up making at least two production runs to keep fans happy.  Thus, preordering them right away is a must if you want them.  This includes not even seeing a prototype picture of them yet.
