Lucky Star
Lucky Star focuses on the otaku & Japanese culture. The series is fairly old & became a huge hit when the anime started to show up. It was already a hit when it was in manga form though.
Collectable products from this series actually started to boom after the anime finished airing on TV. There were some items during the manga period, but their success rate is low & there wasn't many available. After the anime, it slowly started to boom.
