Shunya Yamashita
Shunya Yamashita is an illustrator who is well known. His artworks are praised by many due to his ability to capture the human body proportions well & loveable female faces. A lot of his works are a clash between heavy metal to anime. He is sometimes hire by Square Enix to do some designing work on characters & weapons.
After releasing his first illustration book, many toy companies approach Shunya & make figurines of his characters from that book or other past works. Yamato uses his designs for their Creator Labo series & Kotobukiya has The Art of Shunya Yamashita series. Although these two companies deal with him a lot, there are other companies as well that go after his works. Most of the time, a lot of the figurines based on his designs are highly sough after & get sold out quickly.
