Eurasian Trade Map
The famed Silk Road crossed the vast continent of Asia
by land and connected China with India and the Middle East. Note that there
were also seas routes connecting these civilizations.
Points
to Ponder:
-- Which carried more an ox cart or a boat?
-- Which is the safer way to travel?
-- How many languages would you need to communicate with others along the entire route?
-- Can you forsee any problems that traders would face while traveling along this route?
