You never said I'm leaving You never said goodbye You were gone before I knew it, and only God knew why A million times I needed you, A million times I cried If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died In life I loved you dearly In death I love you still In my heart you hold a place, that no one could ever fill It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone For part of me went with you, the day God took you home Author Unknown |
If I could have a lifetime wish, A dream that would come true, I'd pray to God with all my heart for yesterday and you. A thousand words can't bring you back, I know because I've tried. And neither will a million tears, I know because I've cried. You left behind my broken heart, And happy memories too. I never wanted memories, I only wanted you. Author Unknown |

REMEMBER ME |
To the living I am gone To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated. But to the happy, I am at peace. And to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So, as you stand upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea As you look upon a flower, And admire its simplicity Remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts And your memories of the times we loved, The times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone. |
These two poems I recieved from Chemo Angels. |
A Poem by Anonymous: |
Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am a diamond's glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there...I did not die. |

It's late at night, I sit here alone Wishing to hold you and call you my own. My life is so lonely, I often fight fear Will I ever get past this pain and these tears? My soul since you died has fallen apart, And next to that pile is my broken heart. I long for your love that was sunshine to me. Your smiling "I Love You" is what I long to see. I thank God for giving me, if only a short while Your tender sweet love and your beautiful bright smile. I'll carry your memory with me wherever I go, Until God wispers to me " It's your time to go." Til we meet again, I'll be dreaming of you With your sweet smile saying "you love me to." . |
When tomorrow starts without me and I'm not there to see; If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much that you would'nt cry, The way you did today; while thinking of the many things we did'nt get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in Heaven far above and that I would have to leave behind all those I dearly love. As I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, From his great golden throne, He said "this is eternity, and all I've promised you." Today my life on Earth has past, but here it starts anew. I promise no tomorrow but today will always last, and since each day is the same there's no longing for the past. So won't you take my hand, and share my life with me? When tomorrow starts witout me don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart. |
