The Como Croquet Club was formed in 1928 and has contimued operating on the same site without interruption. In the 1960's the South Perth City Council provided extra ground to enable an expansion from 2 courts to the present 4 court venue. In the late 1970's two of these courts were provided with floodlighting. In 2008 a major upgrade of the reticulation system for the courts was completed. Membership has steadily increased over the years and the introduction of Golf Croquet in Oct 2002 has helped this improved participation in the sport. |
