On Tuesday 20th November Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary. An œcumenical service will be held at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell, Auckland, to celebrate the 60 years of the marriage of Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. The service starts at 7.30 pm, and the Bishop of Auckland, the Right Reverend John Paterson, will preside.
All members and supporters in the region are strongly urged to attend.
The Monarchist League of New Zealand Inc is holding a reception to celebrate the royal diamond wedding anniversary on Saturday 24th November. The venue is the Navy League Headquarters, 19 Tamaki Drive, Orakei, Auckland, and the time 5 pm. Admission $10, payable at the door.
