Make 48 squares- 12 of each color.
NOTE: To change colors, work
last stitch indicated to within one stop of
completion, hook new color, draw through all loops on hook, work over
unused color so you can change back when indicated.
Rnd 1- With A, ch-5,
join with sl st to form ring, ch 3 (=first dc),
2 dc in ring, [ch-2, 3 dc in ring] 3 times (3 corners), ch-1, hdc in top of
ch-3 (=4th corner).
Rnd 2- Ch 3, 2 dc over
hdc, * ch 1, [3dc, ch-2, 3 dc] in corner
* repeat * twice, ch-1, 3 dc in ch-1 sp, ch-1, hdc in top of ch-3.
Rnd 3- Ch 3, 2 dc over hdc, *
ch-1, 3 dc in ch-1 sp, ch-1 [3 dc, ch-2, 3dc]
