Activity Suggestions for Families:

1.  Go fishing as a family.
2.  Attend a high school, college, or professional sporting event.
3.  Go rollerskating as a family.
4.  Play a lawn game together -- badminton, croquet, etc. -- or come up
     with your own lawn game idea.
5.  Play some indoor games, ones that would be good for rainy days.

6.  Make up a game of your own and share it with the family or the den.
7.  Start a family physical fitness program.
8.  Go bowling.
9.  Go swimming.  Have fun and do it safely.
10.  Start a family height and weight chart.
11.  Go for a hike, a walk, or a jog together as a family.

Activity Suggestions for Your Tiger Cub Den:

1.  Hold an indoor sports tournament.
2.  Hold a family funny sports day either in a gymnasium or large meeting room, or at
     an outdoor site.
3.  Attend a sporting event as a group.
4.  Take the President's Physical Fitness Test.
5.  Visit some kind of physical fitness center.
6.  Consider some of the family activity suggestions, or better yet, ask the den for
     some new ideas.

Activity Suggestions for Families:

1.  Develop a family scrapbook.
2.  Learn about sign language, or braille writing.
3.  Start a family code. (See the big idea "Prepare for Emergencies".)
4.  Hold a family discussion with each member talking about what
     makes him or her happy or sad.
5.  Let your Tiger Cub interview you about your job, and, in turn,

    interview him about his day at school.
6.  Make your own family newspaper using headlines and pictures cut out of newspapers
     and magazines.
7.  Learn about Morse code.
8.  Find out how the emergency planning agency in your community would inform you
     of an emergency.

Activity Suggestions for Your Tiger Cub Den:

1.  Visit a TV station.
2.  Visit a radio station.
3.  Visit a newspaper.
4.  Play a game of charades.
5.  Play "Tell It Like It Isn't" in which a one-sentence story is whispered from one member
     of the den to the next, with each member changing one word.  The last person repeats
     the story out loud.
6.  Visit a ham radio operator.
7.  Visit a CB radio operator.
8.  Visit the post office.

Activity Suggestions for Families:

1.  Learn the Cub Scout Bobcat requirements in the Wolf Cub Scout Book.
2.  Meet with the Cubmaster or den leaders and discuss Cub Scouts.
3.  Talk about the fun you will have as a Cub Scout.

Activity Suggestions for Your Tiger Cub Den:

1.  Boys and adults are invited to attend several Cub Scout activities throughout the year.
2.  Adults meet with the Tiger Cub coach and Cubmaster to discuss Cub Scouts.
3.  Hold a Tiger Cub graduation ceremony and induct the graduating Tiger Cubs into Cub
     Scout dens.

Note:  All these den activities will be planned and coordinated for you by your Tiger Cub Coach.
