The Sadadhvan is a contemplation/meditation/dharana on the relationship between the Subjective and the Objective, and their levels from earth to Paramasiva. It is all three because when using the Sadadhvan in pursuit of spiritual progress (Sadhana), one uses direct observation with a still mind, imagination, intuition, and intellectual practice to see the truth described in the Sadadhvan in every object and subjective experience in each and every moment.
The Sadadhvan has 3 levels to the Subjective, and 3 levels in the Objective:
Varna | Mantra | Pada | Kalaa | Tattva | Bhuvana |
Divine Letter | Divine Word | Resulting experience in the mind | Goddess guiding Creation | Principle of Creation | World that is created |
The Tattvas describe the basic principles of this cosmic creative process by which non-conscious objects are created by Unlimited Cosmic Consciousness through the unlimited power, will, and knowledge of God.
But the Sadadhvan goes beyond just describing the basic principles of creation to actually describing both the worlds actually created (Bhuvanas), and the Shaktis that guide the creation (Kalaas).
In addition the Sadadhvan also includes the corresponding Subjective levels behind each level of objective creation demonstrating how consciousness pervades and supports it's non-conscious creation while still transcending it. This conscious creation is accomplished through the vibration of conscious creative energy(s) (Shaktis) which creates divine sounds (Varnas), which combine to form the divine words (Mantras), which then lead to the divine cosmic subjective experience (Pada) behind every objective object (Bhuvanas).
The principles where by this divine Subjective Process (Varna-Mantra-Pada) is able to create the Bhuvanas is described by the principles of creation (the Tattvas).
The divine power of the Subjective Creative Process is embodied in the Shaktis listed on the objective side (the Kalaas).
There are actually endless subtleties to contemplation of the Sadadhvan. Exploring it truly keeps you on the frontier of your own mind sailing in the infinite ocean of your own consciousness.
Below find two expositions of the Sadadhvan found in various very important texts of Trika Shavisim. As time goes on I hope to add to and improve on these charts.
