Dark Eldar Conversions -
Hellion with Blaster
Dark Eldar Conversions Next
This conversion was done as part of my Wych Cult army.  Originally I intended to field Hellions as an assault unit.  Over time I decided to experiment with using a small Hellion squad  as a deep-striking unit to attack the vulnerable rear armor of tanks and vehicles. For this I needed a Hellion model that carried a blaster. The conversion I made was a fusion of a standard Hellion model with the right arm, left hand,  and blaster from an Incubi model. The right arm of the Hellion was first cut away at the shoulder.  Likewise, the right arm of the Incubi model was cut away and transferred to the Hellion model.  The arm was pinned in place and bonded with epoxy.  The left arm of the Hellion was bent until it mated with the left hand of the incubi hand that was attached to the blaster.  The hand was also pinned in place and bonded with epoxy.  The epoxy joints were then sanded and incubi arm components were then painted to match the rest of the Hellion model.

A left side view of both models that shows how the left arm of the conversion was bent to fit the left Incubi hand that was attached to the blaster.
The right arm and Hellglaive were cut away from the standard Hellion model to make the blaster conversion.
