Dark Eldar Conversions
Raider with full squad

One of the problems with the Raider transport is that it cannot hold a full complement of 10 models to represent the squad riding onboard.  I had read on the Commorragh e-group that someone had directly mounted 10 warrior models on to the decks of a raider without any bases.  In this way they were able to get all the models on the raider.  I decided to try this but take it one step further.  I made deck top plates that could be mounted on to the existing raider decks.  The warrior models were in turn mounted to the top plates so that the whole squad could be removed when the raider was empty.  I also left provision on one of the top plates for a single model with its 1" base in case I wanted to add a special character or sybarite to the squad.  The only down side to this approach is the need to buy extra warrior models for the top plates.
