Dark Eldar - Work In Progress
New Paint Scheme for my army

Recently, I was checking Ebay and saw a pro-painted conversion for an Archon with shadowfield. The conversion was neat, but it was the paint scheme that really caught my eye.  The Archon had a base color that looked like Citadel's liche purple, the same color I use for my army.  What made the model stand out was the flame-like highlights on the edges of the model.  The liche purple was transitioned to pink (warlock purple?)) then red, then orange and finally yellow.  The model looked quite dramatic so I decided to experiment with some models that I have in progress to see if I could emulate the style.  The pictures that follow are my first attempts at this.  I am enthusiastic about how they have turned out.  Let me know what you think.
